Reception Hours

The hospital at the SCC operates, in principle, on an appointment-only basis. All the patients should make appointments in advance. When they visit the SCC for the first time, letters of introduction issued by medical institutions where past medical records are kept, will be required.

 Reception Hours

• For First Visits : 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• For Outpatients on Returned Visits：8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Automatic Reception Machines are in operation from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..) 

Holidays

Saturdays, Sundays, Japanese national holidays and the New Year holidays (Dec. 29 ~ Jan. 3).

Making an Appointment

When you wish to have a medical consultation at the Shizuoka Cancer Center, please refer to the following procedures. 

 1. You are not a Japanese citizen, and will be visiting the SCC from abroad.

Please contact Emergency Assistance Japan (EAJ) first. They are going to help you apply for a proper visa, make an appointment with a doctor at the SCC, get you an interpreter and accommodation. Any direct requests for medical consultation are going to be declined. Please contact EAJ first in any cases.

 2. You are not a Japanese citizen, and are currently visiting here.

Please contact Emergency Assistance Japan (EAJ). Please understand that it may need some time before you see a doctor at the SCC even with an appointment.

 3. You are a Japanese citizen.

Please go to your primary care doctor at the local clinic or the hospital first, and then ask him/her to prepare the Letter of Introduction with your medical record and test images on CD. You will have to contact the Appointment Center at the SCC to make an appointment, but you can also ask your doctor to make one for you. The appointment is needed in any cases.

Letters of Introduction issued by medical institutions where past medical records are kept will be required to make appointments. Once the letter of introduction is obtained, please contact below to make an appointment at the SCC.
